Curtain Call Color Challenge

I had so much fun last week doing Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge...even though I didn't get it done in time to post it to her blog!  Well, this time I started early.  Here is the color challenge.

I was thinking...I probably would have never put Always Artichoke with old Olive!  That is why I love these challenges.  Here is my card.

I really liked the way that it turned out.  I used Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Old Olive, and Going Gray cardstock.  The ink that I used was Old Olive.  The accessories I used were: Versa Mark Pad, Silver Embossing Powder, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Impressions folder, and Dimensionals.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your Sunday!

Curtain Call Color Challenge

Happy New Year everyone!!!  I can't believe the holidays have come and gone.  Well, one of my New Year's resolutions is to post more regularly on my blog!  It seems like alot of my posts lately have been food related.  Well, today's post has nothing to do with food...I was tempted though...I tried another new recipe last night...yummy!!!  Check back on Tuesday for that recipe!  Okay...on to todays color challenge.  I stumbled across Stacey's Blog last night and decided to try these colors together.  Boy, did it stretch me!!!  Here is the color challenge.

I don't think I have ever made a card with these colors.  So, here is the card.  I used a new stamp set that is going to be available this week in the new Spring Mini cattie from Stampin' Up! called With All My Heart.

I didn't have any of the crushed curry ribbon...so I dyed my own with white grosgrain ribbon and a crushed curry re-inker!!!  I also used a new textured impressions folder called Perfect Polka dots...also coming this week.  Here is a close up.
