What a busy week we have had here in Southern Florida! The weather has been great...lots of sun...great temps...and no rain! I am going to try and catch you up on a few of the things we have done this week. We spent Tuesday morning and early afternoon getting ready for our evening cruise on the yacht...Four The Boys! Here is a pictures of the men getting her ready. She is a 56 foot Sea Ray.
Once aboard Captain Carl gave us our prefloat instructions...he told us not to touch this!!! I am talking about the picture below...not the picture above;-)
Now...the boat we had when we were growing up didn't have near as many buttons and switches as this one. What do you think Nannette...we would have looked pretty cool cruising Oregon Pond in this one! After our prefloat instructions we were on our way. We left the dock and headed out to sea...well kind of...actually we headed out on the Indian River towards the St. Lucie Inlet. They had to raise the draw bridge for us to get thru.
The kids were having so much fun!
Tom could get used to being in Florida full time!
Now...thats some power!
Do you think I would go anywhere without a phone...did I mention she also has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen with a microwave...hummm...no scrapbooking room! What were they thinking!
We dropped anchor shortly before the inlet, over by a beach and had dinner. We had yummy fried chicken, fruit, veggies, Chris's Almond Pound Cake with strawberries....yum!!! Then our Captain took us out to the entrance of the inlet. The water was very rough. Here is a house that is out right on the point.
That house was beautiful but we decided we liked this one better and thought it would give us more room for company!
The cruise back was so much fun...and the sun was beginning to set! Once we arrived back to the dock, the men started to put "Four The Boys" up for the night.
That gave me plenty of time to take a few great sunset pictures like this one!
A perfect ending to a perfect afternoon on the water. I am happy to say that we made it home with both children. We didn't lose a single on over board! I think if Reagan can make it thru a cruise on the Indian River...we should be able to tackle the Grand Canyon next! I hope you enjoyed the pictures! Check back tomorrow for pictures of The Jupiter Lighthouse. Thanks for stopping by! And a special Thanks goes out to out wonderful Captain Carl for a very enjoyable afternoon and evening. Also we were very happy to spend time with Mom and Dad Mucher, Aunt Laura, Bob, and Betty! Don't tell Tom...I think I am starting to like this place...
